COOPERATIVE DRIVING AUTOMATION (CDA)
Modeling, Optimization, and Control
Our work on CDA involves the application of advanced modeling and simulation techniques to test trajectory planning and cooperative maneuvering algorithms we develop for connected and automated vehicles.

Field Testing
With the recent addition of L2 testing capabilities and access to the TVA Test Track in Chattanooga and the MLK Smart Corridor, we developed plans to implement and test the CDA algorithms we develop in controlled real-world settings.

Lab Experimentation
Our lab is currently developing a L3+ 1/10th Scale CAV to perform lab experimentation of CDA algorithms with Automated Driving Systems (L3+). We plan to work collaboratively with CARMA platform to test and guarantee interoperability.
