Undergraduate Research Assistant 

The SMART SIMULATION, ANALYTICS, AND MODELING IN INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS (SMITS) LAB @ UTC is looking for an independent and highly motivated undergraduate student to work closely with a group of graduate students on state-of-the-art research.  The student will work on research and coding tasks in the newly acquired UTC Driving Simulator located at the Edney Innovation Center.  Specific tasks will include coding in Python, C++, and C# for Virtual Reality (VR) applications.  Hence, minimum qualifications for this job are:


  1. Research oriented

  2. Creativity and resourcefulness in identifying needed resources to perform research tasks

  3. Excellent reading comprehension, organization, writing, and communication skills

  4. Ability to provide concise and easy to navigate deliverables

  5. Very good programming skills in Python, C++, and C#
